The Works provide professional and organisational development support and advice for artists, the public, companies, venues and other partners who want to engage with dance and theatre.
The Works Youth Dance strand supports young people's participatory work in dance and theatre, and develops county-wide initiatives to ensure that as many young people as possible have access to high-quality experiences in Cornwall.

The Works' flagship youth project is Cornwall Youth Dance Company.CYDC was one of the UK's first youth companies to be established. Since 1988 it has been providing Cornish youngsters with the chance to recieve regular professional training and performance opportunities, often working alongside some of the world's best choreographers.
Young people from all over Cornwall gather together every other Sunday to work with some of the world's best choreographers.

EMDP is the lead National Governing Body (NGB) for exercise, movement and dance. It is a not for profit organisation dedicated to the development of exercise, movement and dance provision throughout England and the UK. EMDP's vision is to have ‘More people enjoying good health and well-being through exercise movement and dance - for life'.
Dance Champions (DC) is an exciting new dance venture with the main aim of supporting and encouraging more people from all walks of life to get dancing, have fun and be more active.
Foundation for Community Dance is the professional organisation for anyone involved in creating opportunities for people to experience and participate in dance.
Street Cheer is a unique fusion of Street Dance and Cheerleading. It incorporates achievable street style moves with elements such as locking and popping, jump and freestyle elements, along with cheerleading cheers and chants.
It enables participants to develop self confidence, team work skills and experience the benefits of physical activity.
Carn to Cove is Cornwall's rural arts touring scheme.
Their aim is to amuse, entertain and generally bowl over communities with the latest live performances in halls and community centres around Cornwall.
Arts For Health Cornwall & Isles Of Scilly was the UK's first countywide arts and health organisation. We exist to promote the role of creativity in improving health and well-being, and develop specific projects to deliver health improvement.

Dance South West is the regional strategic agency for dance. They bring together a network of partners to enable people in the South West to make, watch and take part in dance.

Fitness League, a well-established nationwide exercise network, supported by Sport England, is a founder partner of the Exercise Movement and Dance Partnership. Its teachers throughout the UK deliver classes teaching Bagot Stack, designed to improve posture and well-being through central control (core stability) and rhythmic exercise to music, releasing the body's potential for good health.
dance4life empowers young people to take action in pushing back HIV and AIDS. It's a worldwide movement which operates across Europe, Asia, America and Africa. The team spreads its message through international dance events, a national schools tour, and interactive workshops.
Since 1984, CYTC has worked with over 3,300 young people on over 75 touring productions resulting in over 450 performances.
