Star jumps

A quick and easy exercise suitable for beginners; that can be made more difficult for progression if required.

3 minutes performing continuously

Instructions:

Stand up straight with your feet together. Jump up and land with your feet shoulder width apart and, as you do this, lift your arms out to the side. Immediately jump back again and repeat in a continuous manner.

How to make it more difficult:

To make the exercise easier, step out to the side with one leg whilst using your arms.

To make it harder, go faster and/or take bigger jumps out to the side.
