Ball Again is a new scheme set up by England Basketball to encourage ex players to return to the sport, and to offer new players the perfect opportunity to give it a go.
The Ball Again scheme is currently running at Truro Leisure Centre by the new Truro Community Club, and is also due to commence at Penzance Leisure centre at the end of October.
Various clubs throughout the County will be running an innovative Supermarket Sweep Competition at a number of supermarkets across the county, incorporating a variety of basketball challenges.
Winners of the competitions will receive prizes such as free England Basketball memberships and free training sessions with the respective clubs.

Sportivate is a new programme giving 14-25 year olds access to six-week introductory courses in a range of sports... including basketball!
The programme is for anyone aged 14-25 currently not choosing to take part in much, if any, sport - to find the right activity for them and to help them continue playing in their community after the six weeks is up.
Bude Bats, St Austell and Cornwall Cougars are all running Sportivate projects.
IM Basketball is an inter-mural competition than can be run in a variety of different formats so that it's suitable for any school, club or university that wishes to run an in-house basketball competition/league.
Truro College and Cornwall College have set up an IM basketball competition for their students which will run alongside their normal college fixtures and all students within the College are welcome to take part in the league.
Penryn Saracens are also running IM Basketball in association with University College Falmouth to provide students with an opportunity to play weekly competition.
Bude Bats train every Wednesday evening at Budehaven Leisure Centre from 8 to 10pm. The team currently competes in the Plymouth and District League
Callington Roos train every Sunday at Callington Leisure Centre. The club have links with the local school and run a variety of sessions which cater for all age groups, the team is competing in this season's Plymouth and District League.
Cornwall Cougars are supporting the new Truro Community Club based at Truro College and the club has also recently established a new Wheelchair basketball team with practice sessions being held in Pool, Truro, Bodmin and Launceston - for both Junior and Adults. The clubs also runs the County Development centres for all junior players in Cornwall and has recently set up a new Women's team.
Newquay Air is based at RAF St Mawgan and is running open training sessions every Wednesday from 7.30pm. If you are either new to the sport and would like to give it a go, or used to play and would like to start up again then these sessions are perfect for you. This season the team are playing in the Cornwall League
St Austell Stars trains at Poltair School every Monday evening and runs a range of different teams who will all be competing in the junior and men's Cornwall Leagues.
Truro Community Club is a new club that has been established through Cornwall Sports Partnership, Truro College and Truro Leisure Centre to provide players of all ages the opportunity of playing basketball each week. The sessions are held every Thursday from 4.30pm at Truro College and Truro Leisure Centre.
Wadebridge Storm plays every Tuesday evening at Wadebridge Leisure Centre. The club recently won both the Cornwall and Plymouth and District League and is busy preparing to retain their various titles.
