The following tips should help you find the right class for you:

1. Ask your friends and neighbours for suggestions for local dance classes
2. Have a think about what style of dance you fancy trying the most
3. Use our activity search to see if there's a dance class of your preference happening near you
4. Look for a class at your level of ability - if it's too advanced for you, you're likely to be put off!
5. Don't be shy to ask to observe a class as most teachers will offer free trial classes for newcomers
6. Don't limit yourself to one dance style. Try out a few!
