St Austell Bowling Club

St Austell Bowling Club has been established since 1928 and is open to all members of the community. We offer a friendly, social atmosphere and the opportunity to bowl whenever it suits the member. The pavilion was rebuilt to modern standards following a fire in 2006 and caters for all abilities It's aim is to promote and foster the flat green game of bowls. Our membership is mixed, men and women, with an age range of 10 to over 80 years of age. We also have two visually impaired bowlers and wheelchair facilities can be available if required.
In 2009 the club was awarded the 'Clubmark' accreditation and is linked with Poltair school, providing an annual 'taster' day for students. There are several events planned for 2012 so if anyone is interested in findng out more about the club or bowls in general please feel free to call the Club Secretray.
