Penwith Peninsular Bike Ride

Event Summary This is your chance to ride 40miles on a challenging ride around the beautiful Penwith Peninsular, or a 20miles through the outstanding seaside village of Mousehole , or take in the beauty of Mounts Bay on a gentle 6 mile ride along the coast path between Marazion and Penzance . Detailed Event description CRUK and Mounts Bay Rotary Club have joined forces to revive the Penwith Peninsular Cycle charity ride. This has been a popular yearly event which had been supported by local cyclists and “non cyclist”. All the rides have spectacular views with the 6 miler taking in Mounts Bay, the 20 miler Mousehole and Newlyn and the 40 miler the breath taking(!) north coast between Sennen and Zennor. We are hoping that 300 riders will take part and riders of all abilities can participate. The 40 miler has some challenging climbs and the 6 miler would be suitable for families including small children. There is no minimum sponsorship amount but all are encouraged to raise at least £50. The monies raised will be split with 70% to CRUK and 30% to go to MBRC. MBRC support a broad range of local organisations and individuals.(see web site). We hope this will be the first year of the revival with the event becoming a regular feature of Penwith life. Thank you in anticipation of your support.
